Hello again, developers.
The inaugural IBM Watson developer Conference, that took place in San Francisco on Nov 9-10, has come to an end. It brought together more than 1000 developers to learn, code, develop, build and connect. Ginny Rometty, IBM Chairman, President and CEO, opened the event discussing Watson at work, with multiple developers joining her to share their experience and demonstrate what they have done with Watson.
Watson is a technology that uses natural language processing and other machine learning techniques to reveal insights from large amounts of unstructured data. Over the last 5 years, IBM Watson has been busy, rapidly achieving a critical mass – with hundreds of millions people being impacted already through medicine, shopping, insurance, weather, education and more. You too can easily get started with Watson!
Our team at developerWorks is dedicated to helping developers build their skills and advance their careers around emerging and game-changing technologies, whether you are just getting started or pretty advanced with your developing skills.
